2022 Board of Directors Election Notice
Each year three directors are up for election. Unlike other financial institutions, the membership elects the nine-member board for Ozark Federal Credit Union. The Board of Directors has nominated two incumbents with expiring terms who have agreed to run again. The third vacancy is the seat of the late Tim Darnell who passed away in July 2021, currently held by Chad Henson. The board appointed Mr. Henson of Piedmont, MO, to fill Mr. Darnell’s seat until the next election.
Sharron Payne—Sharron has served on the board of directors since 1998. Ms. Payne retired from the Public Administrator Office for Butler County in 2021 and served on numerous committees on the state and local levels. Her knowledge and experience in many areas show her passion for protecting and helping our members.
Keith Hale– Keith has served on the board of directors since 2001. Mr. Hale is a local business owner and uses his experience to provide sound business advice and guidance on the services that benefit the institution's membership and financial structure.
Chad Henson— Mr. Henson is a successful businessman in Southeast Missouri. He is a past County Commissioner in Wayne County and owns and operates Henson Trash service. His family have been active members in the communities they serve for many years. Mr. Henson will finish out the term vacated by Mr. Darnell’s passing.
